Can you identify the four flags in the first picture? I know you're going to get at least one right answer. The red, white, and blue one, right? Wait a minute. There's two red, white, and blue ones. Oh, that's right. The one with the stars. Wait a minute. There's two with stars. Oh, the one with verticle stripes. Yeah, that's Moldova's tri-color, of course. Now if you're Moldovan, you are trying to figure out which two flags you should circle as one unit. For those less up on flag identity, we have left to right: USA, European Union, Moldova, and Russia. Part of Moldova would like to be part of the EU. And part of Moldova would like to still be part of Russia. And part of Moldova doesn't like either of those choices. So there you have the quick and simple explanation of Moldovan politics from this casual observer. Also in the news, caruțsa's (horse drawn wagons) now have to be registerd. I wonder if they're going to give out license plates for them.
