Vacation - Part 7 Backroads of Bohemia

Leaving Prague we hit the back roads through Bohemia (which is part of Czech Republic) and visited two "ceske" 's  or towns.   First Ceske Budejovice which had a beautiful baroque town square along with central fountain.  But the main attraction for me was the beer.   You see this is the home of the Budvar Brewery.  Now the town's name Budejovice is rendered as Budweis in German.  So you see this is the home of Budweiser Budvar pilsner.  Here's looking at you.  Next we moved on to Ceske Krumlov.  Its the perfect castle village of the middle ages.  It has a river running through it.  You get a bird's eye view from the castle on the hill.  Here's my brother Doug taking a look.  And cousin Mary is in the castle courtyard.  The castle is protected by some wily bears, but don't feed them please.  We stroll through town looking at shops.  At times you can look up at the castle on the hill.  The town square welcomes us.  And now we bid farewell to Czech Republic and move on to Austria.  No customs gate to go through, we're in the European Union.
